Shirts & Destroy

Shipping delay in effect: Due to an urgent medical issue I will be unable to ship any orders for an indeterminate amount of time.
At minimum there will be a 1 week or possibly 4-5 week delay on shipping and communication via Email. Please understand that this is a very small business and life issues like this can easily derail an entire business that is run by essentially one person. Refunds will be give to anyone who does not wish to wait for their order during this time. That being said, I GREATLY appreciate any and all business during a difficult time such as this. Thank you.

Wednesday, September 14th, 2011

In this episode, Tattoo Age catches up with Troy Denning and learns the ins and outs of his life before becoming one of New York City’s most notorious tattoo artists. Troy is described as the smartest person his friends have ever met - stemming from hours of reading while hiding from teachers in the confines of his middle school library. We follow Troy as he makes big money in New York City’s famed “Cash Cab” trivia game, and talks about his path into tattooing, including stories of odd-end jobs as a construction worker or bouncer at a strip club.

Exquisite Corpse Show / Opening Party

Monday, September 12th, 2011

The opening party for "The Cotton Candy Machine presents: Shirts & Destroy, The Exquisite Corpse" on Friday night was a huge success. The place was packed the entire night and there was plenty of cheap beer and affordable art for everyone.

HUGE Thank you to the unsung hero's of the night:

Sean Leonard, Tara McPhearson and Jessi Cornett at The Cotton Candy Machine Gallery.

The Liberated Print Crew who did a phenomenal job (as usual) on all the shirts. Kevin Baker, Jeff Gardner, Chris Coulon, Galen Baudhuin.

Jay Foran at Alpha Repro Graphics who produced all the Giclee prints and keeps the S&D shop stocked with Giclees.

Anthony Pontius who reached out to CCM so many months ago with the idea of setting up this show in the first place.

And of course, all our friends and family for your support and for coming out and helping us celebrate.

The show is up until October 9th so if you missed the opening night you still have a month to go check it out and maybe score yourself an original.

The T-shirts from the show are available in the S&D shop in Brooklyn and right here in our online store.
