One of Phoenix, AZ's best tattoo shops, The Golden Rule Tattoo, is entering their second year in business. In celebration, they'll be giving back to the community that gives to them: their fine customers and the Roosevelt Row area of downtown Phoenix. On Friday, October 14th, Golden Rule Tattooers Alex Empty, Kevin Leary, Christopher Robin and Taylor Ryan, along with co-owners Jason Anthony, David Maxwell and John O’Hagan will be outside Lost Leaf grilling all night from 7pm-10pm, providing free food and snacks for all in attendance (there will be food available for meat eaters and vegans alike). The tattooers will be taking turns DJing as well, and the fine folks at the Lost Leaf will be offering drink specials to the attendees ($1 off all beers and wines over $4). The Lost Leaf offers over 100 different beers and wines and is artist owned and operated by local Phoenicians.
Additionally, Golden Rule’s artists will have an exhibition of their artwork in mixed media (featuring new and never-before-seen paintings, tattoo flash and more) inside of the Lost Leaf. New merchandise will be available, as well as raffles for artwork, tattoo gift certificates and more. This will be a one-of-a-kind event, and one not to miss!
